Cavity filters consist of a single, double or triple (or more) coaxial cavities and exist for power levels from 50W to 10KW and more.  These filters are constructed using high Q quarter wave lines with variable coupling. Install these between transmitter and antenna to assure maximum signal without any spurious or harmonics. Also helps remove spurious mixing products when used in multi-transmitter installations. Fabricated from aluminum or stainless steel while the cavities are silver plated copper with PTFE insulators.

VERY IMPORTANT: Cavity filters are very narrow devices and the load and source impedance can affect their tuning. While we tune filters for you in the factory you may have to fine-adjust tuning once the filter and antenna are installed in final position. To perform this tuning you will need VNA (Vector analyzer) or antenna analyzer such as RigExpert AA-230 സൂം or similar. If you don’t own such an instrument or do not know how to use it PLEASE DON’T BUY such a filter. You have been warned!
