TRIPLE AMPLIFIER PROTECTION FOR YOUR PALLET AMPLIFIER + DIGIAMP

Protect any pallet against three common dangers
To work this protection board also requires output board with directional couplers or a filter with directional coupler. The board protects by reducing bias voltage. Range of protection is limited as bias can only be taken to zero. Excessive drive can still cause damage. But some protection is better than none. The way the board works is by limiting:
– Reflected power; A trimmer is used to adjust level of reflected power that starts to pull bias down
– Excessive current;  A trimmer is used to adjust level of current that starts to pull bias down
– Overdriving: A trimmer is used to adjust level of output power that starts to pull bias down

DIGIAMP CONNECTOR
The DIGIAMP interconnect system enables easy integration into a FM transmitter with our exciters. All it takes is one flat cable (DIGIAMP). This connection enables measurement of SWR and Power, amplifier supply voltage, current and temperature. It also provides additional SWR protection and automatic output level limiting. A perfect companion for any filters and pallet amplifiers, offering power, temperature, current and reflected power reading. Even without FM exciter it offers some protection as bias voltage is pulled down when some adjusted limit is overdriven (Max current limit, max power limit or reflected power limit!

What is required minimum to use this:
– Definitely need filter with SWR/PWR sensor board or just SWR/PWR sensor board without filter
– It is recommended to use feed-through capacitors (see photos)
– It is necessary to find point on pallet where you can safely pull bias voltage to ground

Використання з збудником MAXPRO FM:
– Підключіть DIGIAMP до блоку живлення РЧ
– Проведіть усі виміряні сигнали через прохідні конденсатори, які усувають радіочастотні сигнали, що заважають
– Особливо підключайте живлення до підсилювача через прохідні РЧ-конденсатори, оскільки вони мають максимальний РЧ-шум
– Підключіть плоский кабель DIGIAMP до збудника
– Спочатку встановіть усі тримери захисту/обмеження на мінімум
– Встановіть тримери потужності/КСВ/струму для правильного читання на РК-дисплеї збудника
– Тепер встановіть tx на максимальну заплановану потужність (наприклад, 500 Вт), потім відрегулюйте захист від КСВ, обмеження потужності та обмеження струму до точки, коли вони майже починають зменшувати вихідну потужність

Чи можна використовувати для інших збудників?:
