Description
New Ampleon ART1K6 Pallet Amplifier
Introducing our highly rugged 2000W pallet amplifier, ideal for high VSWR industrial, broadcast, and HAM radio (analog and digital) applications. This circuit utilizes two Ampleon ART1K6 transistors in parallel within a wideband high-efficiency planar pallet design, featuring two on-board combiners. You may need to parallel two PSU units to power this pallet; ensure your power supply supports paralleling.

IMPORTANT:
– Ensure proper shielding between the final stage and audio stage with exciter. Install a good feed-through capacitor on the +48V supply wiring to prevent RF interference.
– Excessive drive levels can damage the amplifier. Ensure your equipment includes appropriate protection circuits.
– Amplifier efficiency is dependent on supply voltage. For maximum efficiency, adjust the supply according to the desired output power, typically at 1-3 dB gain compression.
– RF pallets are sensitive. If you lack sufficient experience, consider a fully finished product. Misuse can lead to damage, and no warranty is provided. Every pallet is tested and fully operational upon dispatch.
– Ensure proper airflow across the pallet to prevent overheating. Pre-order now to secure yours!
– You can find special adjustable 50-65V power supply for this amplifier here! Use a good strong fan!

Warnings and Notes:
– Do not exceed maximum supply voltage for your pallet to avoid damage.
– Use PTFE coaxial cable for RF input (RG178) and output (RG178 or RG142). Keep leads very short. This N female flange for RG142 or .141 semirigid – easy install is perfect!
– A heatsink is essential. Ensure proper airflow across the pallet to prevent overheating.
Recommended accessories:
We recommend antenna analyzer for checking SWR of the antennas. Grounding kits for lightning protection can be purchased here. They should be installed at the antenna (if needed, most dipoles are grounded anyway), at the tower base and at the point of entrance into transmitter building. Also use self-sealing tape which turns into rubber and protects moisture from entering your antenna system. You might also need Antenna tower to place the antennas. Coaxial cable and connectors are available as well.
