Description
COAXIAL CABLE 1/4 WAVE GROUNDING STUBS
The Quarter-wave stub can be used for many purposes. A shorted quarter wave stub is a piece of coaxial cable 1/4 of wavelength long that will pass at the resonant frequency +- 5% and, what is important for us here, will represent a complete short for DC signals. This means that any static electricity or indirect lightning discharges will see a complete short and will be safely released into the ground. Of course provided the cable is properly grounded.
What is included with the 1/4 wave grounding stubs
– T-connector of suitable type (SO-239, N or 7/16 IEC)
– Short coaxial cable, tuned with Vector Analyzer, shorted on one end, with suitable connector on the other end
IMPORTANT:
When ordering these let us know your operational frequency as we will tune the stub for you in the factory.
