These scenarios are typically encountered
Small community stations in remote areas and real-time simultaneous interpretation.

This reduces both cost and complexity. It can also be easily programmed via LCD to set the RDS parameters. Not suitable for professional setups as integrated digital modulator creates in-band artefacts about -50dBc down. At low powers such as 1-15W you are unlikely to have any kind of problems, just choose a free unused frequency.

Small community stations that require high-quality radio signal.
