Post Quarter wave antenna Reply with quote
Now, I know there are much better antennas out there than the one I'm
about to propose, but humor me until my roll of RG-213 gets here and I
can finish my half wave dipole.
Question: What's better:
A 1/4 wave "whip" antenna made from a piece RG-213 with both the
center conductor and the ground connected to the transmitter's output
(not connected on the other end)
OR...
A 1/4 wave "whip" antenna made from a piece of 10 guage solid copper
only connected to the center tap?
