15W booster for pci max (Power Supply Question)

Post by Raknam »

I recieved my 15W booster today but have a question concerning the power supply. (or lack of a power supply) It comes with two power wires hanging out of the back. Is there a power supply built into this card or do I need to buy one? If i need to buy one, what kind of connector is needed to hook the wires up? I am new to all this wiring business so bare with me! Thanks!

P.S. I noticed there is a mains power supply for sale for this unit but it doesn't add to the shopping cart when you tell it how many you want.

You need to get 13.8V/3-4A DC stabilised power supply,
these are usually sold in ham shops and even radio shack.

They usually have two terminals, one red and one black,
which can be used to connect those two wires directly by
unscrewing and than screwing back the plastic bit.

Regarding order form, I just checked and you are right,
I am going to look into that right now so you can try in about
one hour.
