What's this symbol?

This is the place where you can ask questions
related to schematics posted on our website
and request new schematics. We will try to post whatever is possible.

What's this symbol?

Post by Recon Blazer »

I am studying some schematics in a book I bought, but unfortunately, there isn't a legend in the book that tells what this symbol is.

It looks like an upside down capital e. "E" only upside down and the long straight edge is up. There is a line coming up from the middle of it. What is it??? Is it ground? Because there is only 1 wire leading to this symbol. Thanks alot.

Hi

You're probably looking at the symbol for a chassis ground.
