more power for max-pro really cheap |
|
I made a small modification on max but still needs some tweaking out. i have replaced my final output which is a 2sc1971 with a 2sc1972. Power output increased but caps run really hot not to metion so does the transistor. I did put a larger heat sink and a fan but I need to replace a few caps. Total power out was 12 watts but I think once I work it out it will be closer to 20 watts!!!!!

So, did you do the upgrade, and how did it work? I am trying to up the power on mine. I am not greedy, I would like to get around 10-15watts output...I wonder if Marco has any input on this mod...
