Using RDS in my existing transmitter

Post by Phil »

A question for you! I'm thinking of buying your RDS coder to work in my existing transmitter. I see though that it works with 75 Ohms from the stereo coder/exciter and into the Amp.

My existing transmitter is 50 Ohm exciter output / amp input.

Will it work OK? Can the RDS or my exciter / Amp be easily adjusted.

Thanks

RDS encoder is inserted into the audio chain, not between the
antenna and transmitter.

It will work, but only if you connect it properly.
