19khz stereo tone pilot is to high on the pci max card

Post by radioguy101 »

Is there anyway to change the 19khz stereo pilot tone on the pci max card. It is almost at 20% modulation which is way too high for normal fm broadcast and requires us to keep the audio lower to prevent distortion. Is there anyway to add a resistor or pot and if so where can it be made?

So I'm assuming you can sound distorted because of driving the audio levels louder. Yet not be overmodulating. Does this seem right?
