Hi, I have a Veronica 5WTX (5watt FM Transmitter) tuned to 106.2MHz. For some reason every time I power it up the output frequency drifts just a tiny little bit and I have to adjust the VCO trimmer nearly every time. After about 5 minutes or so it seems to be stable.
I have fitted a better heatsink, small fan with thermal speed controller in order to keep the temperature of the main output transistor stable.
Can anyone shed any light on this?? Has anyone had the same problem with this TX or a similar one???
