Hi all,
Just woundering if anyone knows of a design to test an inverter to make sure its working
a friend told me to use 3 x 3900 ohms resistors to lower the voltage for the led, would this be ok?
Thanks in advance everyone

How about letting us know more about inverter first?
Is this CMOS inverter, DC/DC inverter, DC/AC?
What voltage?

That means your inverted is 600-1000W, a kilowatt of power
for your lcd display? Must be very big.
P=U*I (1000V*1A=1KW)

The whole LCD monitor uses less than 200W, something is wrong here.
Get your numbers right and than we may be able to help you.
I doubt the backlight uses more than 30W or so and you're quoting
1000W.
When you go to the doctor you need to tell him where exactly it
hurts. You can't say: It might be my head, or perhaps my leg, hmm,
no, no, its my butt.
