PCIMax 3000 1W reduce output power |
|
Hi
I bought the 3000+ 1W V2 transmitter for home broadcast, which turns out to be a bit of overkill.
Is there a simple way to reduce the max. output power of my PCImax (besides buying the 100mW version)?
I am already considering a pi-filter at the antenna output but reading a similar topic for the 2006 I was hoping for a possibility to just replace a resistor to reduce the max power.

I say just connect 50 ohm 2W resistor instead of antenna, keep leads short. Than connect a short piece of wire as antenna. The shorter the wire the less range you'll have.

Cool, I will give that a try although I really do like the provided antenna.
