Post Digital Audio (USB) Reply with quote
Is there a way to use the digital audio and my conputer speakers at the same time????

When i connect transmitter audio using the USB driver my computer speakers stop working unless i disable the usb sound driver.... but then , of course, the modulation to the transmitter quits.......

Ok, there are several ways to do this, but mainly

A: Using analog audio phono input
Now your PC surely has a sound card. If you want to use your regular PC sound card you can connect the audio jumper cable with male stereo phono jacks (3.5) on both ends, one end goes to the PCIMAX 3000+ card, the other card goes to your PC sound card speaker output. Since modern sound cards support at least 2 sets of speakers it is usually trivial to set them to output the same audio to all 4 speakers so that you can transmit and also listen to your speakers at the same time.
In this scenario set your PC sound card as default device in windows.

B: Using digital audio input.
As you connect PCIMAX3000+ to your PC a new sound card will appear in your Windows operating system. There are several ways to handle this new sound card:
- You can set it as your default audio device. Any sound generated by the PC or any audio playback software will be transmitted on air. Your speakers will not play any audio and you will hear any windows sounds as well on the air.
- You can leave your sound card as your default card. Most audio playback programs and radio automation programs such as SAM broadcaster (link is below) will let you set to which sound card the audio goes. So go ahead and select the one from PCIMAX for your playback. Programs like SAM Broadcasters also let you route audio to the speakers, the PCIMAX card and also stream them to the internet all at the same time:

- Also check out this guide, explains another software way to split audio and send it to speakers and PCIMAX at the same time (software version of splitter cable).

Hope this helps. My favorite is SAM Broadcaster, it lets you control PCIMAX 3000+ directly from the program (RDS, frequency, power etc, the whole set)
