Guys i would like to share with you my experience, i never heard a sound like this, even in the commercial stations on the country,
Here's my config:
P4 3Ghz pentium
PciMax 3000 Platin.
RDS daughter board
Radio DJ soft (no sound prossec)
Breakaway Broadcast sound processor

It's heaven my goodddddddd....

I fully agree with what you say. Breakaway broadcast makes the PCI Max 3000+ into a real audiophile sound. I have spent a lot of time tweaking the settings and the below picture is what I have finally settled on.

Cutting the base level down which I found was a bit overbearing, allows the modulation level to be pushed a bit further. The deviation with these settings never peak above 75Khz according to my PIRA 75 analyzer.

I also have Pre-emphasis turned off on the PCI MAX. Breakaway with Pre-emphasis enabled I found gave a better treble response.

One other thing I have noticed that with low bitrate mp3's like 128kbs you really do notice the difference in quality to the high bitrate files. This is testament to how good this combo works.
