Glad you like it. Using SAM broadcaster with it? How do you like the
interface SAM built for it?

It is a much better product than 2007 model, I must say.
The support is almost not needed anymore.
There have been zero burned finals so far as well,
looks like the protection is working very well.

If you want to get the stand-alone version, everything you need
is included.
It is called cybermax micro, you can check it out here:

Yes, that temp is pretty cool.

Remember, the card has temp protection so at some point it will turn off automatically.
When you notice that you know it is running too hot.

Since you have 3W card some air flow is recommended, but at 20-30C you have nothing
to worry about.

At what temp does the card temp protection activate? Just curious.

I have been with you for several pci cards. I think back to November of 2004 was my first PCIMax card but, my history on the site only goes back to 2006 and this one is so clear and the range is great. I think you have mastered the pci fm card.

I finally got the fans to keep the unit cool and attached the unit to the antenna in the attic. Now CyberMax Micro v4.0 is saying I am outputting 4.1 watts at 90%. What is happening?

I would be happy with that much power, no reason to complain really.
The output transistor in these cards is actually rated at 4W.

Well, 4W does sound a bit too much. Actual power is probably around 2-3W.

Due to the small size available for power meter there is no space for a real directional coupler so the power meter is RF diode detector. This means that impedance of the antenna affects measurement. A random piece of wire is going to show too much or not enough power.
Still, it is nice to have a meter on board, even if not 100% accurate.
