Here is the solution, download the file from this microsoft webpage here:

Install that exe file, it installs common VB libraries and thereby eliminates the error.

Got the software to run in the end. Had to download fm20.dll from microsoft. Nothing about this in the manual.

Now is where the problems start.

The software runs but doesn't talk to the control board. Tried using USB and followed all the instructions. PC can see the USB interface and installs the drivers. Software can see thge com port but no data?

Tried the serial cable purchased with the control board and still nothing. Looked inside the plug and only gnd, pin 1 and pin 3 are in use? How can this work as pin 2 and 3 are rx and tx?

Also only the fwd power seems to work. The ref shows 0 however I have the VR. Tried putting the fwd power frpm the directional coupler to the reflected on the control board and still reads 0?

The sensor for PSUtemp seesm to work but where is the amp temp sensor jumper? I can see it on the manual but not on the board!

Please help, maybe I have been unlucky here!

Answered via email at the time and forgot to post answer here as well.

Added more detailed instructions here on this page with links to USB drivers.

The forms file was not supposed to be requested, we have updated the installer to remove it. If you still see the error message please report.
