CYBERMAX FM (OLD VERSION) PROBLEM. HELP NEEDED!

Basically need help with finding out the problem with my old cybermax transmitter. Please find attached a link to a video clip of whats happening.

Im hoping the problem can be fixed , as i dont have money right now for a new one.


Setup: Audio source ->Cybermax->swr meter ->comet antenna on roof


Any help would be great, dont think ive ever had this working since i bought it to be honest

it looks like you could be having a problem with swr, since the swr protection is kicking in constantly.
Check the cable and antenna.

Looks like old unit, probably 3-4 years now? What have you been doing all these years?
We've been using new better cases for a while.

Definitely some kind of protection kicking in, either high SWR, high temperature or PLL unlocking.
You can send it here for service, but it is out of warranty. Service is cheap, though, especially if you are in the EU.

yeah a service would be great. could you let me know the price and address in a pm or here and ill get it sent off. Yeah its an old one but using fm here is ilegal without a licence so i only used it for special occasions. But ive recently moved home and am getting it set up permenatly. Possibly upgrade in future but this one should be fine for now. Thanks for the reply guys!
