I plugged a pair of rabbit ears (tv antenna) into my PCI max card instead of using the included wire antenna and they make a really good antenna for me. They almost double the range. Will using this type of antenna hurt my card? Thanks

YES

Your proposed antenna and cable is 75 ohms while the pci 2006 requires 50 ohms cable and antenna. This course impedance reflection back to your pci 2006. Results can be damaged output stadium.

So invest in a good antenna, instead of doing things you will regret later on.

When you by this set, you will have a perfect combination FM Dipole Antenna set for pci and Cybermax Micro V3 transmitters

If I wanted to spend that kind of money for an antenna I wouldn't be using rabbit ears...........

You may spend some money on fixing burned output transistor :)
