What should i buy?

Post by RadioGuyDK »

Hi Guys,

I am thrilled to have found this place. It looks just what we need.

I was looking at: PCI MAX 2007

And was wondering, how long (range) would it be able to broadcast aprox? in meters, or km.

What antenna should i buy for max range perfomance?
And last what amplifier/power suply would i need?
i think thats what i need only? if i have read correctly.

Actually, i just want to know, what i should buy to get a personal little FM station up and running? with a decent range.

Some infos:
i live in a city with many buildings.
I can mount the antenna on our roof 1st floor roof.
PC with pci slots, and usb.

Thats it i think.

I hope you can help me in the right direction.

Im looking forward to hear from you :-)

I recommend a cybermax fm+.
Here is a link to the unit
http://www.pcs-electronics.com/cybermax ... p-216.html

Why?

- You'll soon want 15W and you will need a booster,
mains power supply and amount of cables is going to
be bigger.
- Your PC could crash in the middle of program, you can
power cybermax from car battery or ups for hours.
- It sounds better

Look at this guy, he has a cybermax fm station and he was
recently featured on Finnish TV, this guy is my hero:

Another reason for it, they all come with MAX PRO 3000+ inside
(used to be MAX PRO 3+ up to 10 days ago). So you get a free
upgrade for same price. When I come back from vacations
prices will be adjusted so enjoy this while it lasts and don't
tell anyone
Best regards,
