Transmitter + Amplifier

Post by endgame »

Say I buy http://www.pcs-electronics.com/300w-tra ... p-293.html i.e. 300W FM TX package - 4-bay dipole array.

Then I buy http://www.pcs-electronics.com/300w-dig ... p-368.html 300W DIGITAL FM AMPLIFIER in 19-inch rack.

Then, my total output would be 600 W?

Anything else I need to know?

What you will have is two burned amps. First due to high swr on the output where antenna should be, the second due to
overload at the input where normally you would expect 1W but you'll drive 300W into it.
