Start a radio.

Post by djhubbalubba »

Hi.

I wanna buy this http://www.pcs-electronics.com/professi ... p-259.html
(MAX PRO 3+ (Professional 15W FM transmitter board)

Is this a good transmitter for 24/7 operation? How many miles will it send?
Or should i go for an stereo transmitter? Will a stereo transmitter send longer than a mono transmitter?

How much will it cost to send this norway?

Thanks for answers

May as well go for a 150 watt moudle and get a 1 watt driver that way you'll get at least 20 - 30 + miles radius from a good transmitter site. I've found that hieght is better than power for distance but if you combine the two i.e hieght and power then you've got a winning formula.

Might as well use MAX PRO 3+ and add a 300W/400W pallet amp.

You can set it up to 100-350W easily per your requirements.
