MAX PRO IV + Background noise on modulation.

Post by Carlos »

I have this transmitter working in mono mode and I have realized that, when the music is playing, I can hear a noise that seems to increase especially with low frecuencies and disappears when the music stops. It appears to be as the PLL makes a phase correction.

After spending some hours trying to find where the fault is, it seems to have a wrong value with the C12 capacitor. It was assembled a 5nF capacitor (red body) instead of a 470nF capacitor.

I bought this board assembled, I hope it helps to the PCS team and everybody.....

Regards.

I checked our other boards and they all have correct value.

It seems it was only your board with this problem.

I definitely apologize and congratulate you on fixing it so fast.
Best regards,
