Hi!
I'm running a PCI Max with W2k, & WinAmp playing mp3's
with Sound Solution, it's Multiband Processing with preemphasis generator dsp plugin for Winamp.
Features:
- Multiband Compressor-Expander-Limiter
- Center frequencies B1=170Hz, B2=1000Hz, B3=3200,B4=7200,B5=12000
- Gated AGC
- Stereo expander
- Dual band output limiter / compressor / clipper
- Bass Equalizer
- Built in preemphasis 50-75uS generator and lowpass antialias filter
The sound is near Orban Optimod professional audio processor.
Excellent PCI MAX and Sound Solution.

Did anyone try out the SAM2?

It directly supports PCI MAX, there is control interface available
inside the program.

Post Where to find Sound Solution Reply with quote
Hello,
I had some difficulty finding the Sound Solution software, but eventually turned it up here:

http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/detail.jhtml;$sessionid$A0ZSENI0MQSNPTN241HBCYY?componentId=120741

http://classic.winamp.com/components/download_component.jhtml;$sessionid$A0ZSENI0MQSNPTN241HBCYY?filename=http%3A%2F%2Fftpwa.newaol.com%2Fcustomize%2Fcomponent%2F2002%2F9%2F6%2FP%2FSound_Solution.exe&componentid=120741

I used the first URL to download it. You then take the DLL from the zip file and put it in your Winamp Plugins directory (under where you installed Winamp). To turn it on and configure it go to Winamp -> Options ->Preferences -> Plugins -> DSP/Effects and click on the "Sound Solution" item. To turn it off click on none.
I'm not familiar with the effects but you can play with them by configuring it while playing a song in Winamp.

Hi Schew,
excuse me but in my first one post I have forgotten to insert the link of the download for Sound Solution.
Here you can find the screenshot of my configuration for Sound Solution.
For Five Bands Processor I have only changed the values for the band gain:
Band Gain 1 value 0.5
Band Gain 2 value 0.0
Band Gain 3 value 0.5
Band Gain 4 value 0.8
Band Gain 5 value 1.0
If to someone it can interest I have found also a nice scheduler for jingles you con download from http://wrs.visionfm.go.ro/
