Post Custom PCI Max Icon Reply with quote
After reading the previous post about making a t-shirt design, I decided to give it a try (I occasionaly make t-shirt designs at my job). Once I got started, I realized that I was creating some iconic designs so I decided to button-ize them to use instead of the default PCI Max satelite-dish icon. These icons were heavily based on some of the Gnome icons so they're made to look smooth and fit in with other aspects of my computer theme.

You can see the icon designs here. I am currently using the antenna button on my desktop and it still looks pretty nice when scaled down. If anyone else is interested in using these icons (and if PCS Electronics is ok with it) let me know and I can make an icon file to share.

Note to PCS Electronics folks: I used your logo on these icons to help identify the product that the icon goes to. If you object in any way to this use of your trademark, let me know and I will remove the images immediately. I hope this is ok.

Glad you guys like the icons. You're right, Davey C, these do look similar to Vista icons. I hadn't seen any screenshots of Vista yet so I looked some up and I can see that Microsoft is going for the shiney look too. The vista interface sure looks a whole lot prettyer than the default Windows XP theme!

Marco, I e-mailed you back, thanks!

If anyone has any constructive criticism of these icons or other suggestions, I'd love to hear it.

The new icon has been assimilated. Resistance is futile

You can download the new driver with the new icon and full
rds functionality.

Have fun!
