I was planning to get the max pro 3, an attena and shove that on the roof and see how it goes (i read that the attena can also be placed in an attic, but how will that affect the signal?), besides a cable what else would i need, and the coverage doesnt need to be large just above 4k. id like to total up the cost and start saving, so a list of all eq needed would be nice.
does this mean that the sound will not be in stero unless i upgrade? the next question is what is the cheapest solution?- Even cheaper are our FM exciter boards (mono and with no enclosure). They are assembled or in a KIT form. They can be upgraded to stereo with any of our stereo encoders.
I already have SAM, so thats one thing i can check off the list. And im slightly confused about tuning. how can i check that the signal i put out is far enough from other broadcasts/will not interfer with things (is there a way to check the frequencies)? and how is the broadcast freqency determined- by the arial?
Thanks for reading all of this.
I have done some electonics as part of my computer science course and some of the terms here seem vaguly familier, i dont mind soldering things togther, but is the kit complicated to set up? as i dont want to mess anything up.
I looked into applying for a lincence in my area, but they arn't even acceping applications so as the station will be a pirate one, i want to be really sure i dont interfer with things.
