Max Pro I Enclosure

Post by anon »

I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how I want to build the enclosure for my Max Pro I. My current idea is to build a wooden box and then line it with aluminium foil. The back of this box would be a sheet of ~22 ga. steel or aluminium to which the TX would be attached. I'm planning on keeping the power supply separate. Any ideas, warnings or suggestions?

If any of you have pictures of enclosures you've used or made, I'd love to see them!

How about one-side-copper-plated unetched raw PCB boards?

They are easy to cut and you can solder the corners together.

It is possible to make a very nice enclosure that way.

If all else fails, Cyber MaX FM 19" racks are about 49.99 euro,
and the 2H 19" racks are about 99.99
Email if you're interested.
