Post wideband Reply with quote
Hello people, I have seen and played with lots of comercial fm broadcasting antennas. I seen a dipole thats wideband.. nice swr without tunning. and I also seen a directional antenna like this. Whats on my mind is it would be cool to build a farely wideband omni antenna for fm. Does anyone have any ideas on how abouts? maybe its not possible. I tired one thing i took a normal omni 1/4 wave and added a slit with a dummy load to it.. that gave a nice swr across the whole band but I don't think thats good on a transmitter cause It would bring us down to a 25 ohm load instead of 50 (might be wrong) anyways just a tought
