Marko, I finally got my transmitter mounted in an enclosure and tried powering it up for the first time. Can you tell me what i can do to be able to use the lock monitor "on" feature as it wont stay locked. Test menu says compress L7..tried that almost completely still same. I have not connected any audio yet, just the transmitter into a 50 ohm dummy load. Tuned unit to the lowest pitch as it said on cd.
thanks, Woody

You're probably overmodulating. Make sure you're not.
Also make sure your output stage is tuned correctly as
per instructions and your unit is in metal enclosure,
with stable DC voltage.

Marko, i can't be overmodulating as i have not yet connected any audio source. The power supply is a good quality power-one type swiching power supply. Unit is in a metal enclosure but without the cover at this point. The internal power supply (power-one) is providing 12vdc of excellent filtered regulated dc at 12v. Tried another power supply (external) which is providing 13.8vdc regulated (cb type) and same results. Tuned as per instructions for lowest pitch tone also. also tried compressing L7 as display indicates with no effect. will not stay locked in lock mode "on"
please let me know what i need to do to rectify this. Maybe putting the cover on the enclosure?
tks, Woody

Where is the 56 ohms resistor, mounted close to the VCO coil.
This resistor needs to be some 5-10mm above the board and
moved close to the coil.
