CYBER MAX MICRO+ MPX INPUT

Post by steve88 »

On the CYBER MAX MICRO+ transmitters page it states "MPX input can be added easily" How would I be able to bypass the built in stereo encoder and connect the MPX output of my SE5000 DSP+ stereo encoder to this transmitter? Thanks, Steve

There are several pins provided for plugging in the RDS daughter board.
One of these is MPX in. You can inject your audio here via 1K resistor for example.

It will mix it in so make sure to set board to Mono when you do this.

Look for 3 pins marked GND, +5V and +9V.
Further below are three unmarked pins.
The one at the bottom is MPX in.
