Hi, Im new to the FM Transmitting area and have good knowledge of running my own station online so i wish to go up a level and try at FM transmitting. I am a new guy at this and was just wondering what i would need to get good coverage of around 3 - 4 miles with clear sound. I did have a look at PCI Max Ultra but was wondering if it was suitable for what i needed or whether i would need to buy a different product such as Cyber Max FM.
Thanks. -TomTom
Help on what to get..

Packages
Packages are setup with mono transmitter so you have to add DSP stereo encoder
option to have Stereo. On top of that add RDS encoder to have stereo and RDS.
Why this way? If I wanted to make a package with different antenna types and
in mono and stereo that would be lots of package, this way there are less.
Stereo encoder is of course installed and tested before shipping.
Warm regards from El Salvador (currently on vacation in central america).

Check your local laws, if you want to be legal you should apply for what ever your local government requires.
No reason not to have fun while you do that, and until that happens its "educational" and "experimental"
But i have personally found that as long as you are not offensive, dont step on any existing commercial stations that no one really cares.
But thats coming from someone who lives remotely in Alaska and alot of towns & villages do not have "any" radio or TV stations at all ~!!!

licence
It really depends.
In countries like NL there are guys illegally operating killowats
without getting busted.
In other countries they let you legally operate 1, 5 or even 10W
of power. I`d say check local regulations.
If you`re living in a remote location you`ll almost certainly be left
alone and you`ll provide service that will likely be very appreciated
by the locals and you may also become a kind of a celebrity practically
over night. Just remember to be professional, polite, don`t do politics,
profanity etc and you should be fine.
