ok i see this , im not sure how to read the element slide chart that shows howto adjust , is it showing that full extention at 900mm is 110MHZ? and 400mm is 88MHZ? please help , let me know someone , help me get a idea ,thank you

you read the chart wrong. 900mm is 88mhz range (full extension). and 400mm is 110mhz (which you will never use). So for example, if I were to operate at 100.1mhz, the length of the upper element would be about 600mm.

good question, I use the hose band model, which is the first in the pdf, and it seems to be like the manual you have.

ok i adjusted it accordingly and my signal is alot stronger now , i would need to purchase a SWR meter for fine tuning ,i am getting 10 miles clear! and 15 cutting in and out.. which i will do later this week. thanks for your help.

Ok, it's up now. I adjusted it and it was around 5 cm less than it should. The result was good. Thanks for putting it on your site.
