Stock/Shipping Status on 40W Amplifiers?

Post by Whole Wheat »

Hi there

I ordered a 40-Watt amplifier in early December, and in my last bit of e-mail communication (12/20/2006), was indicated it was on order and should ship "any day now". It's been a few weeks since then, and I noticed that 40W amplifiers are now labeled "sold out" on the current stock page, as of December 30, 2006. I am pretty sure they were marked as in-stock when I ordered at the time.

I used your web form to check in on order status about a week ago, but haven't heard back yet. Can you provide an update on your 40W amp stock and/or shipping status?

By the way, thanks for manually activating my forum account, even on a weekend! I don't wish for this post to reflect negatively on you guys, as I'm sure you're plenty busy. This is the last piece necessary to complete my broadcast setup, so I'm pretty excited. Thanks!

The supplier of these modules is having problems supplying them for
over a month now. They did promise to have them sometime next week,
though.

If you're in a hurry it may be better to upgrade to 150W, those are in
stock.

In every case this is best solved by direct communication with our support
personnel, not a forum. Feel free to email us via contact us page (can't post
direct email here or elsewhere on the site due to spam problems.)
Best regards,
Marko - PCS Electronics

Thanks for the update. I can wait an additional week and see how supplies work out.

I need to give Marko credit for attempting to contact me a few days before I made this post. I had changed my e-mail address (in my account preferences) after ordering, but it seems PCS Electronics still had my previous address. I'll make sure to keep an eye on both of my addresses from now on. Sorry for my complaint!

I'm not entirely sure how much the tax was, but I encountered no problems with shipping to the United States. Fedex delivery was rediculously fast.
