Post by JoshUK »

Hi silly question maybe... I just recieved my RDS unit, which I ordered from the site just before Christmas... 23rd I think.

Anyways I've got the cable to connect it to the computer.. but I don't have a cable to connect it to the mains... I'm guessing I need to make one up perhaps?? If so what way round do I have to wire it up, sorry I'm not exactly clued up with electronics.

You need mains power supply, got one already?

12V/200mA should do.

Hi, one other question I've managed to find something to power it up, and I get RDS I think when I don't have the red light showing on the RDS encoder... the input is stereo, and I presume I'm meant to tune it until the red LED is turned on, the carrier on FM goes quiet.. and sounds very clean, .. however I get no RDS on my reciever once I've done this..
