MAX Pro 1 ???

Post by infinityfm »

Hello, i have a max pro 1 which i built from a kit, now.. it powers up but there is no rf coming out, ive spoke to pcs about this but they cannot help me as such (tho they are very very helpfull)
i was wondering if anybody on here has close up pictures of the board or could possibly take some, just so i can verify what i have done, compare the picture to my board..
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

Matt

Maybe the VCO is not working at all.

Do you have any kind of instruments?

Its hard to work with it. I suspect your VCO is not working, perhaps you mounted
the MOSFET incorrectly. Also, is there a tap on the VCO and is teh 56 ohms resistor
close to VCO coil elevated some 5-10mm above the PCB?

Make a photo and post it somewhere or email it.
