Just yesterday i receive a new GroundPlane Antena and 25m of the expensive AircomPlus cable.
The first problem appear at the beginning, the MaxPRO3+ can't set above 103Mhz, if i select above the red LED stay on. The antena is well tune-up with low S.W.R on my powermetre and the MaxPRO3+ is setup for about 1W RF out just for testing.
After all i tune the transmiter to 100Mhz 1W output and 1.2:1 S.W.R but the output transistor get very hot after seconds and activate the protection red Led. The power supply is 15v measured and the aluminium heating stick well mount with thermal-past to the case. How is that happened with such low S.W.R?
I check the temp of all the Transistors and IC and i detect that the 5v regulator IC2 is going in very hight levels, can't touch 5 sec. I think this is not normal.
MaxPRO3+ problems....

It is impossible to determine from your description what is wrong. I have asked
you to email me a photo, but you provided a very fuzzy image, probably taken
with a webcam or a phone. Sometimes its just something silly and a photo shows
it quickly. If your Power supply drops voltage significantly under load, that could
be the problem as well.
Hot regulator is normal, these are spec'd up to 75 deg C, and its far far away
from that temperature. This regulator has never failed in any unit and many were
sold.
For the output transistor we recommend a small fan blowing across the board.
Did you read the instructions? If you have problems assembling the unit for use
next time consider a boxed unit where we wire everything for you.
Because of everything written above you need to send the unit back to us for
a checkout so that we may determine whether this is the problem of the unit or
something else.

PS3: Regulator temperature is not 75C, maybe 50-60% of that which is perfectly ok. The regulator is designed
to handle 75C without damage and will not fail at only 50% of the maximum limit. Even if heated above 75C it
contains over-temperature protection so please let's stop discussion on this ridiculous issue.
