I have some low power transmitters on the FM band that just have a single wire antenna.
I want the antenna to be a full wavelength at 107.3 MZ FM.
What is the formula to determine the length of the wire antenna.

for 100MHz that's about 3m
A wire antenna should probably be about 1/4 wavelength, but since your transmitter
is probably of the el-cheapo variety its hard to say what is the output impedance and
results are largely unpredictable. A proper antenna would make a difference, but that
won't be a piece of wire, cut to length.
