Titlespy and RDS 2.0

Post by Dano Dan »

So does anyone know how to make the required Titlespy work on the new RDS 2.0 program? I have no idea how to make it work with Winamp.

First configure it to export song name into a text file, than
the new driver rds max 2.0 reads that text file.

Output filename:
C:\SongName.txt

Default string:
Anything, This will be displayed when there is no song.
If you leave this empty, it will be empty when there
is no song. You can for example use your station name.

Prefix:
You can leave this empty or use: Now playing:

Sufix:
You can leave this empty or use anything, this text
is displayed after song name. I suggest you leave this
empty.

Align text:
Left

on 64 characters

Do not select "Enquote output string"

Make sure "Enable plugin" is selected

I had before only on 10 characters and then I only get this ---> " "

Now I have change to 64 characters and it works now good.
You can find in txt the title and song and it works allso good with RDS 2.0 software.
Thank you for the good information.

I have order last week the RDS encoder from you and I hope soon I get it.

I got rds V1.0

here are problems:

if song name is longer than 64 characters (together with prefix) titlespy wont display anything and then rds driver continuosly sends empty data to rds, and rds stops on current PS until driver send new good data

sometimes when driver sends data too often (in my radio station are sometimes large blocks of commercials with rds change every 10-15 seconds) rds jumps over some PS`s, and in next round it shows it normaly

There is an option in titlespy to limit string to 64 characters.
