Power supply for AM Max II transmitter

Post by radioidiot »

I have a 24 volt 2.5 amp power supply... is this a good power supply for this transmitter? What are the 'amp' requirements for this transmitter?
Thanks

We usually ship 19V PSU with AM MAX, the reason is that as you use
more the unit becomes more sensitive to SWR, meaning bad
handling can destroy it.

You will probably need 3A or more at 24V.
