if I switch my Cyber Max LCD to Mono does it make any difference in the range?

Stereo mode generally requires stronger signal at the receiver
to decode the left and right channel.

For example, tune into a weak station on your radio. Set receiver
in mono and stereo. You will notice that in stereo mode there is more
noise.

This means that MONO transmitters get more range with same power.
