Post PCI Max 2004 - Adjusting Power Reply with quote
I would like to know how the power level is set standard when I receive my card (at max or somewhere in between?), and if it is really changed in the latest version from 100 to 300 mW. I also read posts on certain newsgroups that the power was underestimated, and that the old versions of PCI-max were closer to 250 mW instead of 100. Is the new version than closer to 500 mW? Thanks in advance

The power is set to 1/3 to 1/2 of full turn when shipped.

I can't say how much more can be obtained with turning the trimmer
to full, but make sure you're not going too far
