Transmitting Uhf television

Post by pyropirate »

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way i could make the wattage higher on a uhf transmitter. Here is a link to the transmitter, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... gory=32840. It transmits 500 feet and i want it to transmit ~4 miles. So does anyone know of any ways to amp the signal? I'm gonna use a omnidirectial antenna so I can transmit in all directions.

Check this book, there are ATV (radioamateur video transmitter) amplifiers, which could be used to do this
