Note that you have to set delay correctly. if you want certain segment to be skipped set
its delay to zero (0).

Also try updating via PC a few times or power off/wait 2 min/ power on.

Let me know if none of these help.

Skip Messages

Post by TimBeck »

I have exacly the same problem.

I can see on the Radio Display, that some letters are skipped or be shown later

Stationname is eg. 11111111
Radio Text is eg. 22222222

Delay 2 s

I would expect that Stationname and Radiotext is altering. But it doesn't

What can be see non the radio display is somehow that

11111 11
11111111
11222111
222 2222
22222222
22111112
11111111

and so on and so on

On the LCD Dispaly of the kit it is displayed correctly.
It has nothing to do with adjustment as I tried everything

Can somebody help

I would recommend that you don't use too short delay, RDS message takes some time to transfer correctly especially if signal strength is low so if possible use a delay of 3-5.

I tried also with an 1W and also with an 35W transmitter 5 to 10m from the antenna away.

No difference

Station name and radiotext does not alter, these are two completely separate things.

Station name = PS is a 8-character string and you can have a just one static PS all of the time or you can have it change automatically to another PS (there can be up to 100 such PS stored and rotated automatically).

RT is a 64-character string, it is scrolled on the display by receiver.

I will contact you via email and ask for screen shots of your setup.
