Lightening |
|
What is the best way to prevent direct lightening from striking and causing damage to your transmitter and antenna. Is safe to use copper on the lightening resistor. If there is any other way of protecting my equipments, kindly help.
Thanks
Frank

1. Standard lightning protection of the house
2. This lightning protection is applied also to the antenna pole on which your antenna sits
3. DC-shorted antenna is used, where radiator is in short circuit with the ground.

What does audio quality have to do with lightning protection?
I say give it a try.

My answer was in the previous post, "give it a try".
Try to keep things tidy by using one thread per question, makes it easier for others to search for issues and solutions.
