Hello everyone,
I've been looking into these forums and the manuals, but I've been unable to answer my question : we are planning to buy some devices from PCS Electronics (FM exciter, stereo encoder, etc.), and I'm looking for informations on the RS232 (or USB) communication protocol for these devices.
We won't be able to use the Windows control software : we are running Linux for this specific site. This is unfortunately not gonna change.
So, how do the software and the device communicate ? Is it replaceable with a simple ANSI Telnet session, with simple commands ? If so, I could not find any reference of these commands. If not, how could we build our own software ?
Thanks in advance,
Hoggins!
RS232 communication

The protocol is quite simple, but our sample application is in visual basic.
We usually give our partners visual basic applications and they change them
as they find fit. You can also study the program and transfer it to any other
operating system quite easily.
Contact me directly via contact us form, I will explain when I return from vacations.
