At the moment there are several "dont need one" transmitters on the market such as the Belkin Tunecast II
But heres something hopefully better for use with "CD walkmans" and mp3 players to enable them to play through a spare button on a cars FM radio (those cassette adaptors often dont work very well with autoreverse machines)
A pll based low power TX (default frequency 87.6 or 107.9) which can be powered from a car "cigar plg" and hidden in a globebox. The unit would have a stereo input (via the CD players 3.5mm jack) and a 4.5v power output (to power the CD player)
What do you think ?
