powersuply failure

hi i purchased a bw powersuply to drive my 300 watt amp i turned it on and it was running fine 4 a week then all of a sudden it blew the internal fuse . i replaced the fuse and it happened again the minuit u applyed power to the unit what could be ron here.. plese help..

Thise PSU units are too weak to start with, I recommend you get a stronger PSU for that amp.

The PSU shuts down automatically if there is a short or overcurrent condition.

First make sure whether this is the case, disconnect the amp and see what happens.

ok i disconected the amp and it keeps blowing the fuse.. also the resistor next 2 the fuse r6 is also blown ..

ill give u a better vew of things as i said the unit keeps blowing the fuse and also blew r6 the resistor on the left of the fuseholder can any1 help me here on this as its driveing me mad .even a scemactic sheet would do for this unit..

its a meanwell 48volt powersuply 7.3 amps

iv just noticed here that wen i turnd on the psu {wen it worked} the fan was going all the time . but it says that the fan is automatic meaning it turns on and off acording to the pempture of the cpu...could this spell a bad psu.

i have emaild bw moretimes than i can count and i got no reply. its madness even if thay could repair it i would be happy.
