Retain Settings?

I looking at the PCI max .. (1 watt)
my question is:
If I program the wattage and the freq./etc while it is in the PC and then remove to use it externally, will it retain the wattage and freq/etc settings that I set while it was in the PC.?
I see they have the LCD system, but for the 2+ times a year I would use it outside the PC.. just wanted to find out if it will work without LCD.
I am wanting to use it externally in our Motorcycle parade we do a couple times a year.
