Receiving far away radio stations

Post by pcs »

This high-gain antenna system brings in radio stations you never knew existed, sometimes with proper conditions this can be many thousands of km away.

Example: North-african radio stations received in Norway with proper weather conditions (Tropo).

To clarify, these very large distance are only possible with special atmospheric conditions:

Without these your reception will improve substantially but don't expect to pull in stations from thousands of km far.
